UNWANTED COLD CALLER - PRIORY ROAD, BRERETON

Good afternoon,

At approximately 14:30 (2:30pm) this afternoon, a male has knocked at a property on Priory Road, Brereton, attempting to sell a product door to door.

The homeowners did the right thing by politely declining. The male then became verbally abusive, swore at them, and walked off.

Advice:

You are under no obligation to speak to or purchase anything from door-to-door sellers.

If you are unsure, do not open the door or use a door chain/door viewer where available.

Genuine sellers should remain polite and leave when asked.

If someone becomes aggressive, close the door and contact the police if you feel threatened.

Please report any suspicious or abusive behaviour so it can be logged and monitored.
